The VOX AC15 - An all time CLASSIC Tube Amp!

Initially when I started playing electric guitar, it was through solid state amplifiers from Peavey and Fender. It wasn’t until I bought my first tube/valve amplifier then I realized what all the fuss was about for tubes!

My first tube amplifier was the VOX AC15C1 and it remains one of the favourite electric guitar amplifiers of all time. It’s surprising loud for it’s size, but it’s still ok for home practice.

It doesn’t matter if you are into rock, blues, or country music, it’s just such a versatile amplifier. Not only that, it handles effects pedals very well and the built in tremolo and reverb tank is great and allows you to create some great surf rock tones.

Here is a brief rundown of the specs (the 1X refers to the model that has a Celestion Alnico Blue Speaker)
