There’s no denying that the Fender ‘65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue is a great electric guitar amplifier. It’s a solid reissue of a classic amplifier that has been used on countless recordings by famous musical artists for decades. OK, but is it too loud for home use?

In general a 22 watt all tube amplifier is too loud for most people to use at home. This amp shines when it has the volume turned up and you use the spring reverb! Do you live in an apartment? Do you you live in a single home with an empty basement? Do you live with your family who hates hearing your loud guitar playing? So of course it all depends on your personal situation and whether or not you can play this amplifier at loud volumes. This amplifier is loud enough to play with a band, but may be too loud for just practicing at home.

I’ve made a video at home and set up a sound decibel meter to measure how loud the amp can get at various volume settings. Check out the video below and hopefully it can help you determine if this is the right amplifier for your needs!
